Takin' it to the Streets

Feb. 18, 2017 | South Bend Century Center

Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Trying to be a faithful Christian man in today’s world is challenging. But while it feels like there’s an unending assault of negative forces attacking us and our families, Christ never abandons us. Every day of our lives we are called to take God everywhere we go: our homes, work, the gym, the mall and every other place we enter. It may sound overwhelming or unpopular. But, God equips each one of us with the courage, wisdom, and strength to “Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature,” through word and action.

Get ready – because at the 2017 conference you will experience Christ’s love in a way that will help in battling the challenges facing men today. You will not be afraid to take it to the streets, for God is with us wherever we go!

Getting there

There have been significant changes to traffic flow in downtown South Bend. Main Street and Michigan Street, which both used to be one-way streets, now both have two-way traffic. Other construction is not yet complete and stoplights have not been adjusted to the new traffic patterns, so you should allow more travel time than in previous years. The Century Center has a parking lot that will charge $5 for the day. On-street parking in the downtown area should be free on the weekend, and several nearby parking garages might be free if there are no other events on that weekend.
